Some days, I look at my friends page... and it makes my life seem sane. And this, just so you know, doesn't say good things about my friends page in comparison.

Of course, the said friends page also proves that some of the people I know actually have a life... which makes me feel rather pitiful, as I don't have much of one. Ah, well. Guess I can only blame myself for that.

Echizen-kun seems to be working hard to become a well-known artist. Well, working a lot, at the very least. I guess I should wish him good luck on his endeavour. At least he's doing more than I -- my greatest achievement these past few days is a seriously deformed little thing which holds no merit whatsoever apart from showing all too well why modelling clay is not my medium.

...Of course, being sick is simply an excuse, and a poor one at that. So what if I can't get out of bed, missing a lesson is obviously intended as a personal insult against Yokohama-sensei. And of course the only correct response to such a horrible insult is to make sure I fail the course by not letting me make up the work desu. Meaning all I can do is go back next year.

I ended up missing some classes after all before I got better, but thankfully my teachers were quite understanding. Even the one who's known as very strict about absences let me go with just a bit of extra work desu. (It might have something to do with the fact I still looked half-dead when I talked with him, though. Who knows, maybe he just wanted to get out of the conversation before he caught my illness? Or maybe I'm just that cute... yeah, right desu.)

It's exactly my luck to get a cold just as the classes start... and not even a proper cold bad enough to stay out of class, just enough that I'm sneezing and coughing all the time. Which I guess is not all that unique, but the thing is -- Jin-chan's getting sick, too. And keeps getting sick again and again no matter what I do. I mean, of course there are computer viruses, but this is getting ridiculous desu.

Jin-chan's growing well ^^ Apparently I'm doing something right. He's really cute, too, almost like his namesake~ I think I'll make him a little house from cardboard and such. ~~I might even manage to pull it off as a school project.~~

Being at home has been... uneventful. Mum is fussy as ever, and somewhat unsurprisingly Dad hasn't changed all that much, either. They don't seem to really believe me when I tell them I'm doing well... but I guess it's natural for parents to worry, ne?

How is it possible to check through 27 different kinds of rulers and not find the one you need? >_>

I could complain about the exams and papers have been doing their best to kill me, but I doubt that'd be any news to anyone at this time of the year. I could complain about how I've no idea what to get my Secret Santa recipient, but that would only be about 83% true because I do have some kind of an idea but it is not entirely certain yet and I'm in a bit of a hurry aren't I and I really should get my data on this sorted out soon desu. I could comment on the Christmas gifts I've been getting people but I'm afraid of giving out some bits of data that might give them away ahead of time.

So, I shall say simply this: Unlikely though it may seem, once the exams are finally over, I might actually be happy not to see another number for a couple of days. Well, at least a day desu. ...Well, at least I would wait until the next morning to calculate anything, I'm sure...

For those interested in the result of the fight, they pretty much beat each other up yet had no clear winner in the end desu. Therefore, it was all rather useless. ~~Idiots desu.~~ Hopefully next time they'll find a more conclusive way of solving their arguments, especially when it originally stems from something as absolutely trivial as choice of icons escalating into this desu. How about a bit of Jan Ken Pon next time, kids? Or will Dan-niisan have to teach you that first?

I really don't think the Architectural Photography teacher likes me desu. I've explained to him, with clear evidence, that given my History of Art professor's tendency to talk overtime and the two classrooms' relative locations on the campus, it's simply not possible for me to make it in time for the beginning of the Thursday class. He claims I'm just lazy and I could make it in time because nobody else who's in both those classes is late every time desu.

Um, hello. Those others are the ones who run down the corridor at 10 AM every single Thursday to make it in time because Hajimura-sensei won't tolerate lateness desu. I'd much prefer to be one of them.
